Bidrage med feedbackI've been in France for 4 days and that was by far the best to eat. they now offer 2 menus and I chose the more expensive at 48 euro. perfectly cooked foie gras with piquillo paprika and celestial was followed by. a very good gastrointestinal kanard with roasted fig. the cheese course 8 euro extra was a selection of 6 goat cheese from combebelle and dessert was a heavenly Valrhona chocolate and praline with kumquats. there is a good list of local weeping with a few half bottles available. Do not miss this restaurant when they are in the minervois.
We ate here on one of our three nights while we stay in this beautiful old chateau. it's as much as everything. we, the six groups of guest who eat this evening, gathered outside on the terrace for aperitifs. the menu is...a fixed three course affair that is scheduled for 8 o'clock loose. all allergies were checked at the time of booking. after the order of the weine, which is mainly local and explained in detail, we moved to the outside tables and were served our three curses. these were every beautiful craft and served without delay. the chef, a charming lady, came out to talk to each one of us while the evening progressed and to ensure that we were all satisfied with their creations. all in all a very nice meal. after the offer of digestibles and coffee we all moved into our rooms, or in our case for a walk around the village in front of the bed. the service was impeccable and a real effort was made to ensure that we were all looked around.
A great hotel, the very courteous staff of the village is friendly and we were greeted by everyone who is worth a visit and stay
I have had the pleasure of staying here at two places and having enjoyed eating enormously. this time, close to friends, I brought them here to dinner and they were thrilled by the atmosphere and eating. there is no selection of curses. here, but they could be for a vegetarian if reported in advance. the food was simple, elegant and perfectly cooked and presented, with interesting flavor combinations, including a starter of red mullet and speck on pesto with tiny tomatoes and a main course of beautifully cooked pork fillet with goat cheese and an salad roasted ananas and paprika. the dessert was a stunning sugar glazed lemon choux. all this for only 34 euro per plus a bottle very well local borie de maurel for only 28 euro. it would be difficult to find a meal of this quality anywhere else at such a price.
We booked in here last minute for two days in mid summer and got a large room. The reception was excellent, the room was excellent and we decided to eat there too. The menu was fixed, three course but they had flexibility for my gluten and lactose free...wife. Superb choice of local wines and even a few local spirits Pastis from Carcassonne recommended . I would definitely stay here again, very peaceful.
