Dear Joel, I have to contradict everything he has written, obviously he is used to eating precooked and frozen food in other fast food. I think it's a targeted criticism.

I had the bacon burger and lemonade today. The burger was fresh and bacon salty, though I should have asked for tomato and cheese which would have been perfect. Clean, hot and freshly cooked I think it’s a good deal for €4 for burger and €2 for lemonade on Corso Umberto

Feeling a little peckish, I popped in here one evening on our walk back towards our B&B after having spent a time on Ortigia Island. I ordered a hamburger with onions to take out. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but the staff were very pleasant and soon got what I meant. My wait wasn 't long. My snack was thoroughly enjoyable, and I felt that it was a decent sized portion for 2.5 euros. I actually enjoyed it so much that we returned on another occasion during our short vacation in Syracuse. I had the same again, whilst my coeliac wife was pleased to find out that she could have something too, and actually ended up with chips on a gluten free roll, otherwise known to some of us as a 'chip butty '! We were pleased with this find, and thought that it represented very good value for money.
