Opa Time - Sioux City

Love the Gyro! These guys make it fresh and hot ?. Always tastes good and leaves me full. I stop here for lunch at least once a month.

Just reopened after devastating fire. Food was just as amazing as it always was!

April 1st was my first time eating at opa time. After a few weeks of waiting for them to open, I was very much looking forward to ordering food, but unfortunately, I must have caught them on a bad day. I wanted to order something quick and easy, so I ordered a bacon burger and French fries. As I was paying I realised this man (who I assumed was the manager) was dripping and pouring with sweat, it didn't take me off too much becuase we've all worked to the point we sweat plus he's not handling the food so I left it alone. I was informed my food was being bagged up, but as I saw the man who was sweating putting my food in the bag, I felt a bit uneasy when he started tapping the side of the wrap of my burger to make sure the foil was on there properly. I'm not sure how many stuff he touched, but I left it alone. It wasn't until I saw him drop 1 French fry on the counter near the register. I didn't worry about it until the man picked up the French fry with his bear hands and put it in the bag with the rest of the fries. I don't know what was on the counter before, and I don't know what else the man touched, but unfortunately, such an event made me loose interest in the fries so I threw them away, but just as I was in the middle of eating the sandwich I realised there was no bacon. So apart from the poor cleanliness of the manager and touching my food with his bear hands along with picking up a dirty fry off the counter and my sandwich missing what I wanted on it I am forced to give opa time a poor rating.

They are doing great since they reopened their food is great quality I highly recommend eating

This is one of best restaurants in Sioux City they are so helpful and are very caring and have great food they have an amazing amount of respect. The people who work here are lovely and will help you in anyway possible. Like I said one of the best restaurants in Sioux
