La Tavolata - Sint-gillis

Great find! Despite being in a tourist heavy area, this restaurant provides excellent and efficient service. The dishes are straightforward but delicious, with generous portions. The tartare is especially delicious and I can't get enough of it! Additionally, the terrace is well-maintained and well-staffed. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and this restaurant was a great find. The manager mentioned that he bought the restaurant in June, so don't pay attention to the old reviews that mention issues with the menu. I will definitely be returning to try more of their famous Italian dishes.

The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and welcoming. The quality of the dishes is excellent and the terrace provides a great outdoor dining option. However, there is sometimes too much smoke on the terrace, but this could be easily resolved by opening the roof when it gets too hot. The portion sizes can be a bit overwhelming when the restaurant is busy.
