Irmak - Sinop

The most picturesque location imaginable, right on the beach, with delectable local cuisine and the friendliest staff ever — fish straight from the sea, just meters from the tables. A variety of fish, classic Turkish side dishes, raki of course, and desserts to rival Paris. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but well worth finding. Ask the friendly restaurant host Erol about all things Sinop and Black Sea fish and you will likely get some laughs and life advice as well. Seriously though, hanging at Irmak Restaurant was a highlight of our visit to Türkiye

We came to Irmak Restaurant on 24.9 with guests from abroad and asked for a table for 7 people. They started to prepare a table for us next to a smoking table. Since we had a small child with us, we wanted a non-smoking place. The answer given to us was that cigarettes are smoked everywhere here. No other place was shown and no attention was paid. We left there and went to another restaurant. I won't mention the name of the restaurant we went to, it was a place like the star. Meal type: Brunch Service: 1
