Watami Japanese Dining (city Square)

The food is extremely decent for the price, especially with the set meal. Great choice if you are undecided on what to eat since you get several choices for the sides. The restaurant is quite cosy and the food arrived quite fast.

On the first day of the new year, there was quite a wait at the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the food was good for its price range. I ordered the salmon and ikura hot stone bowl and appreciated that the ikura was served as a side dish and not in the hot stone bowl. It had a similar feel to Pepper Lunch with butter but no sauce. The hot pot was tasty, but unfortunately, they forgot to include the egg. It took a while to get the server's attention and I had to walk up to the counter to inquire about the missing egg in the hot pot that I had ordered.

The Japanese and fusion dishes at this restaurant are excellent. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend coming back for more meals. The lunch set is a great value for the money!

While visiting City Square, the girls felt like having Japanese food for lunch. We were surprised to see a long queue at the restaurant, but we were served quickly thanks to their automated queue system. Ordering was seamless and the food arrived promptly. Despite the low prices, there was nothing to complain about in terms of service and food quality. However, the management should consider replacing the broken chairs as they made us very uncomfortable, especially since we were wearing shorts.
