Very consistent on the quality freshness of menu items.. big portions too. This time we were a group of 6 “finally” after Covid ease restrictions.. we tried: seafood soup, very light yummy to start with supreme seafood fried rice “must order” on point. signature black pepper crab, was very fresh and yummy but to my taste I prefer their award winning chili crab more. Cod Fish Steamed With Preserved Radish And Diced Chilli amazing, light can’t get enough Live Prawns Fried With Cereal fresh, big so yummy we ordered the peeled on to be easier in eating. Cheese Baked 'Mentaiko ' King Prawn Each love, love, love each order one. squid with glass noodles we had fans for it, for me it’s hard to eat, a bit chewy sautéed broccoli carrots with scallops and garlic classic but a must sautéed asparagus taste very healthy light lime juice yummy jasmine tea at the end was very refreshing
Legend of seafood. Chilli crab here is always the best. It’s pricey but it’s a quality! Fresh, juicy, big, sweet crab. The chilli sauce is so very good that we wish we could suck all the rest into the stomach! Fried bun is just perfect with the chilli sauce though it’s already good alone. The prawn with salted egg is never disappointing. If only I knew it’s this good, I will order 1 more…haha. However I think the barley drink is way too sweet. All the seafood would rather go better with soda drink. Reservation is a must. We ate at 5:30pm as the restro opened. Half of seats were occupied. This meal costs us SGD206. Worth every cent!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. I especially enjoyed the freshness of the seafood, and would highly recommend trying the Chili mud crab and Mocha spare ribs. The yam rings with scallop were also a pleasant surprise. Although my family loved the soon hock fish, we were slightly disappointed when our crab fried mantou arrived cold because it was served before the fish. However, the waitress was very attentive and recommended the perfect amount of food for us. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
I have been a patron of this Jumbo restaurant at Riverside Point for quite some time. The quality of the food is consistently good, and the service is always reliable. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid any disappointment. The chilli and pepper crab is a must-try when visiting. This time, I tried the lobster vermicelli and salted egg prawns, both of which were delicious. I will definitely be returning when I am craving crab again.
The food was just as good as it was ten years ago. The service was decent, although our initial seating could have been improved. We were seated at a makeshift table, but after requesting a change, we were given a better table. I highly recommend trying the chili crab with fried mantou.
