Briny but not too overwhelming, paired with the ponzu sauce, is a delight. Set meals were value for money, with huge portions and various side dishes. Sashimi and sushi weren’t the freshest, but it was really decent. The Udon was tasty and texture was perfect chewy and soft, just to my liking. Tempura was huge and crispy! Service staff was really attentive and friendly despite being busy, and the ambience was really cosy.
Had the Sake Ikura Don, the sushi rice is well seasoned and sashimi is fresh. Friend tried the Sake Teriyaki and commented the meat is a bit tough. Not a lot of customers during lunch hours but hope there are dinner crowds to support the business. Be back to try other items that the restaurant offers.
Momoya is located after simpang bedok, japanese restaurant. Slightly on the pricey side but overall decent experience for its premium and quality food. Brought my parents and wife to this place for celebration of my dad's birthday. Wife researched this place as dad wants to try japanese food tonight. Initially we both ordered the 2 premium sets to share amongst 4 pax. Seems oyster is a must try in the premium set. But we feel not sufficient for 4 pax so we each ordered another don set and curry don set then its ok. There are ice cream too for the premium set. Waiter and waitresses are all very polite and patient, not rushing at all. Ambience is good. Yuzu soda is not bad too.
Came here with some friends for a pre-christmas get together. This is a very cosy place tucked away in a quiet corner in Bedok. Food quality is decent, but not superb. The price is slightly expensive. But there's a good spread of items for the gozen sets and curry rice sets. Staff are friendly. The best part about this restaurant is the quiet and cosy ambience.
Our first time here and it’s a good lunch set. Will come back here for dinner :
