Bidrage med feedbackFood was good and reasonable for what it is (sashimi or tempura lunch sets for about $20-25) but if you want to use your entertainer voucher here, make sure you call ahead to notify them because they only take 5 vouchers a day and only for dinner! Wish this was said in their t&c on the App to avoid the unpleasant experience.
The restaurant is located at Robertson Walk, next to Wine Connection and facing UE Square. Look for the wooden door that leads inside. The space is quite small, so I recommend making a reservation. For a more engaging experience, I suggest sitting at the sushi bar where you can watch the chef in action. However, if you prefer a bit more privacy, there are tables tucked away in the corner. The food is delicious, though I think the portions could be a bit larger. We tried their Chirashi dons, which featured salmon, tuna, snapper, yellowtail, tamago, and another type of sashimi. There were also flowers and herbs in the bowl which the chef explained could be paired with the sashimi. The chef demonstrated impressive knowledge of the cuisine and ingredients. For those seeking something unexpected, they also offer an Omakase option. Overall, it’s an authentic Japanese dining experience. Be sure to make your reservations early to avoid disappointment.
I had lunch there on a weekday and ordered the Uni Don and Chirashi Don. The uni was fresh and creamy, while the Chirashi featured thick slices of fish. Overall, it's a solid mid-priced Japanese restaurant.
This is a cozy medium-sized restaurant located at the corner of Robertson Walk. I really appreciate being able to enjoy a peaceful lunch when it's not too crowded. We tried the Omakase for SGD 80, and it was quite good.
