Cais da Estacao - Sines

This restaurant is bad in the view of an vegetarian/vegan. They have a lot of meat and fish options. Haven’t tried those obviously but comparing those to the vegetarian and vegan options it’s low. Two dishes and one of these is a salad. No entrees...that are vegetarian neither vegan. It’s just bad. The location is good big windows and when it’s light outside it seems nice. The whole thing with the vegetarian dishes just made me mad about the Restaurant. If you eat meat and fish it’s gonna be okay for you but just saying don’t go there if you want to eat veggi.

After reading other reviews our experience was disappointing. Very unfriendly welcome and service. Food average Decor really nice. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

This is a great restaurant you must visit if you’re in Sines. Great food and outstanding staff. The fresh fish and linguini with calamari are irresistible.

The only Michelin restaurant in our area and doesn't disappoint at each visit. We started with cheese, bread, olives and a flavored butter which was good. The main courses of picanha and a beef steak with melted cheese and game sausage were both large portions...and delicious. The restaurant is good in that they serve a selection of wines by the glass. The cover photo shows the chocolate cake I had which is delicious whilst my wife had ice cream. All for A consistent restaurant deserving it's award. Thank you.

It was a cloudy day on our visit, and Sines left us wondering why we'd been recommended to visit, since there's very little to offer to justify,, so we hoped that the lunch booked at Cais da Estacao would make our drive from Comporta worthwhile....Sad to say, aside from the stunning desert highlighted in their profile picture, everything else was OK but nothing wow. Serving portions are generous, fish is very fresh, with tender octopus and chunky, lightly battered cuttlefish as starters, with a huge grilled salmon and seabass as mains- both cooked well, but didn't see or taste anything extraordinary. The reason for the downgrade to average score was an abrupt and almost rude greeting on arrival, so would hope this was simply an off-day, perhaps to match the dark sky mood of that afternoon.
