Bidrage med feedbackWe come here a lot like the kids love it, but lately the service has done. Today I moved up to check after my online order and as usual the menu board immediately registered my name and said that my food was prepared. 10 min later it explained that my food was on the way and went back to the standard screen. 40 min after that I pressed the button to get some service, as I saw it sat down, how other cars come and go. Someone from Fast Times in Ridgemont answered high and after 10 minutes silence announced he had found my food? He took it to the car and as soon as I immediately recognized the drinks, the ice had almost completely melted. I pointed it out and he said I'm sorry and went away. Completely refuted with the recent service.
At the time of writing, the establishment has a sign saying they are understaffed. Taking that into account, the experience was actually pretty good. The employees who were there were really nice, which I know can be difficult when understaffed because I have experienced that myself at my place of work. The food is usually pretty good here, and the customer service is usually pretty good aswell. Taking into account they were understaffed, it was still a good experience.
Jean and I decided to give Sonic a try. It has been years since we've been there. We used to like going to Sonic when we lived in Texas. The burgers have changed, they are thicker, possibly bigger, not the same taste associated with Sonic burgers of our past, but still good. I had their breakfast sausage and egg toaster and it was very good. The only complaint the order of fries and tater tots was pretty small.
I finally just left... I pulled into a parking spot to by pass the long drive through line. I pushed the button to place my order and after a few minutes someone came on the intercom and said they would be with us in a minute. Cool no worries. 10 minutes still no one so I notice the screen had timed out so I pressed the button and it said someone would be with us. Okay cool. Then someone pulled next to us and after a few minutes he pushed the button and almost immediately someone comes on the intercom and he places his order so I say to my son 2 more minutes and we are gone. Well you know the rest of the story. 20 minutes of bad service and no food. This is not the first time either. Doubt I will ever be back.
I'm literally sitting here as I type this. I ordered a number 1 and a kids meal for my daughter to sit here and eat. The fries was cold that came out with the order. The meat patty was hard around the whole edge of the patty. The burger was sloppy. I wasn't going to say anything until my daughter said that her fries were almost cool. I felt them and they were. I told the person at the intercom I wanted fresh fries and these were room temp. They brought out some fries 1 minute later that was definitely sitting under a warmer. I threw the whole meal away. I usually never come to Sonic, and this is definitely the last time I come here. I would have rather eaten at McDonald's and I never eat there. At least I know I would've gotten fresh fries after I specifically asked for them.
