Mei Mei House - Simpsonville

Great ppl and even better food. Always fresh!!! Previous comment made a while back. Since then this place has fallen off. I won’t be going back.

Ordered yesterday for Pick up. Sesame chicken was raw in the middle, all of it. Egg rolls were very salty, couldn't finish eating it. Pork fried rice was ok. Boneless spare ribs way to greasy. Beef and broccoli tasteless. Lo mein was very thick and had a weird taste. Not good. We won't order from here again. First last time.

I was really impressed with the general tso chicken combo plate. The food was served hot, and tasted fresh. The eggroll was crispy and also fresh.

Food and service was good. Enough food for lunch tomorrow. Price is reasonable.

My favorite Chinese place is back near my old apartment near local que called Asian Garden, but i didn't feel like going back out, so we landed on ordering from Mei Mei. The Mongolian beef had a sweet taste, and the beef had an odd texture. The Mei fun was good, but it needed a sauce or something. The lo mein noodles were very thick and just tasted different. The chicken broccoli was good, and so were the fried dumplings. Crab rangoon was a huge letdown as it just tasted like cream cheese. No crab and no sweetness to it. I'll definitely be ordering from Asian Garden next time as they're the best Chinese spot in Greenville IMO.
