Bidrage med feedbackI want to talk about the fantastic bartender at this restaurant. He's truly brilliant and remarkable. He pays great attention to his customers and can whip up an excellent cocktail. The food is made to order, so it takes a little while to come out, but it's definitely worth the wait. The space is small and very cozy. I visited on a Monday when they had special curly fries, which I think is a fantastic idea. I didn't order any this time, but I would definitely like to try them in the future.
The food and drinks at this restaurant are excellent! I highly recommend trying the Pwason Woz (whole red snapper sautéed) and the Akra Morue! The snapper was incredibly delicious and juicy. Additionally, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, which is a definite plus!
I wish I could give a review of the food, but this place is really hard to find. Hopefully, I'll make it there one day!
My fiancé (who's not Haitian) found this place as a surprised to me. The other reviews were extra... waits was same as any other restaurant. Plus to have great Haitian food you gotta wait. The house salad was excellent... anyway from start to finish had an amazing time. I'll come back even though it's an hr plus away from where I moved to. Lastly, that mojito lord heaven was great and the rum cake brought ms back home
A taste of home in the DMV area! Be sure to stop by and say hello to Chef Berto. If you enjoy a drink, definitely give the “goudou goudou” a try—you won't regret it. Whether you have it neat or on the rocks, it's absolutely delicious. The menu will transport you straight to the homeland. Bon appétit!
