Peri-washington - Silver Spring

I have fond memories of Nando's, perhaps because it is where one particularly beautiful woman and I first dined alone. Since then we have been back several times. Creative chicken-focused cuisine, this is an outpost of a South Africa-based chain (Trivia: Both Prince William and Prince Harry love it! , order at the counter style, reasonably quick, and well priced. Great location in Downtown Silver Spring.

When wr've come at lunch or off hours, the food here has been great and the place half full or less, but we arrived at the peak of dinner hour on a Saturday and found the place quite full and the soundtrack cranked up last people be able to hear each other...so we turned around and left.

I love this chain, food is good at reasonable price but I absolutely don't recommend this particular place. Rude manager, bad service, bad experience.

We had aimed for Eggspectation across the way, but the line was huge, so we ambled across to Nando's which was nearly empty. Not S good for them, but great for us: the place was quiet, and the food was both less expensive and just as good, even though it meant switching from a brunch mindset to lunch. Each of us got some form of chicken, and everyone dialed the spice level they wanted. We had a great 1 12 hour meal and a chance to catch up with friends we hadn't seen for over a month.

I had never tried Portuguese food until I ate at Nando's. The chicken bowl was one of the best food items I had during my three week stay in Silver Spring. The prices are reasonable, and they have unlimited Dole Whip for $2.99!!! I invited my coworkers to dine here with me a couple of times and everyone was very impressed.
