Lebanese Taverna - Silver Spring

For years this has been one of our absolute favorite chains where we eat. I prefer the Taverna style to the full-fledged restaurant as they serve very generous platings of our favorite dives, Shima and fresh hot bread. It also serves delicious sandwiches, soup and salad. We're ready to drive an hour to eat here and just want them to take one to our area.

Friendly staff and the best hummus in town very authentic i recommend traditional platter!

I really enjoy her chicken shawarma salad bowl; it's enough for two people. We also order the hummus, which comes with two extra pitas.

There are numerous meal options with a wide variety to choose from. The environment is clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding a child-friendly meal for my son and kept him entertained throughout our visit, offering him snacks and treats both before and after our meal. They truly went above and beyond.

This is a fantastic casual spot for Mediterranean cuisine. It was perfect for our group of four adults and five energetic children! There was something for everyone to enjoy.
