Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant

Nice place to have dinner and drinks. Very nice ambiance. Stores nearby for hotel guests. Recommended for couples.

We checked in here for a night and because it was low season, early check-in was okay. Food was also great and filling with prices ranging from 180-250 PHP. Though the hotel is not beside the shore, it is just less than 10 minutes walk to the shore, thus, location is still good. The rooms were average and air-conditioning was quite a problem because it was not getting that cold even at 17 degrees. We used a fan to help in the temperature. Also, during the time when we went, there were workers painting the building so we could smell the paint in the room.The second floor of the hotel is not advisable for the elderly or young kids as the stairs have high steps, even we needed effort to climb. It would also be difficult for those carrying big, bulky, and heavy luggage.Customer service was good, the waitresses were attentive.Overall, not a bad place to spend the night, we were still able to rest during our stay.

It's not delicious. we ordered 5 dishes and all are terrible. 1 came very late and my child waited 15 min hunger.

We recently had a bad experience eating in the cou bar in santa fe bantayan and will not eat again. my wife and I live in santa fe, on the island bantayan and regular local eateries. a few days. before this experience occurred, we had dinner there. three days after breakfast. our eating had been delivered and we cost our breakfast when one of the servers came to the table and told us we owe the restaurant money. she had a bill in her hand. she said we did not pay the right amount for dinner three nights before and asked me for 200 philippine pesos (approx. $3.00 usd) to cover the lack. apparently, who served us three nights before, forget to add it to our bill. I usually don't go through what's on the jack, I'm just paying what's on. I have not deliberately missed this order or knowingly. I said, okay, I'll pay for it. two tables above the owner of the restaurant sat on his computer. I went by and told him that his server had made a mistake and had asked me to form the order that they had taken me wrong. he told me that she did this because he would take the amount from her paycheck if she didn't. then he immediately turned red and with a look at abstention and wrought on his face said to me: “Don’t pay it! And if you don’t do it, never come again!” he then rose up from his table, stormed around the restaurant and then sat down on his cash again. I was totally shocked and could not believe that a businessman who owned a restaurant would do something like that. I would never talk or treat with such a customer. I went back to my table and finished my breakfast with my wife. when I left the restaurant, I went to his table and put the deck and the 200 pesos in front of him (with a tip for his server) and said: "Here is her money, and no care, according to the kind they talked to us, we will never come back, and we will never recommend her restaurant to everyone. He wouldn't even see me in the eyes when I spoke to him. eating in the cou cou bar is always hit and miss like the service. many times it takes an hour before your meal is served. there are many restaurants to choose from in santa fe and this is one that I never choose again.
