Arjay May - Silion

The restaurant is in a fantastic location in the heart of town, and the staff is friendly and laid-back, making for a great atmosphere. It's a cool spot to unwind, people-watch, read a book, and occasionally look up to see any interesting happenings in the streets.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Arjay May's while exploring Bantayan. We were drawn in by the cool music playing and decided to give it a try. Despite the basic decor with plastic chairs and tables, the customer service and food were exceptional, some of the best we have ever had! My boyfriend raved about the squid Adobo he ordered, saying it was the best he's ever had. I've been trying to find this restaurant since we left so I could share our positive experience. If you're in Bantayan, you must visit Arjay May's. You won't be disappointed!

Visited here when staying at the Amihan Beach Cabanas. Really nice surprise... the decor is pretty basic particularly compared with some of the other establishments in the vicinity but the food is great. Can recommend the Sotanghon guisado with the litre of Red Horse beer. Didn't try the BBQ this visit but the chicken on the spinners out the front smelled amazing....

ArjayMay may be basic with plastic tables and no frills, but don't let that deceive you. If you're looking for delicious food, generous portions, and affordable prices, give Arjay May a try. The prices are fair considering the tasty food and large portion sizes.

My boyfriend and i randomly came across Arjay May's whilst riding around Bantayan, they were playing cool music so we went inside, the decor is really basic, plastic chairs and tables but the customer service and the food was up there with the best we've ever had!!! My boyfriend ordered the squid Adobo and he said "it was the best Squid, if not meal I have ever eaten". I have been looking for this restaurant since we left so i could share our experience, If you are in Bantayan, you must visit this restaurant, it will not disappoint!!
