Southern Star Takeout In Signal Mounta

While we love Southern Star and give them high marks, it's getting more difficult to order from them due to everything (except blue plates) coming home in plastics, plastic, plastics. Home dishes nor re-use of previous plastic containers are allowed. We live in a beautiful, natural setting that cries out for a significant reduction in plastics use!

Good, fresh, healthy food ! Great salads, sandwiches, soups, desserts different daily entrees available for takeout or can eat in. Love Southern Star !!

Tourists driving by after a hard day hiking. Walked in, was greeted by a dozen smiling faces who made it clear that the ‘take out’ aspect was brilliant! Don’t underestimate by location! We ate like royalty. NOT a ‘comfort food’ dive. Grilled salmon with watermelon relish? Lawdy! Eat here!

My wife is recovering from major shoulder surgery. It’s great to have a place with good food since I am fairly cooking challenged.
