Caffe L'accademia - SIENA

This is my “local” in Siena, my second home, and it is really done thanks to Claudia, the joyful, friendly owner of the bar. I was quite sick when I was in town last September and whenever I came by, she never hesitated to give me a soothing cup of Chamomile tea and a bit of gelato. They're people like them who make me so proud of this city. The bar can't be special or flashy, but it's real and running from a local. That really matters.

I was in Siena a week in September and got my breakfast every morning. The staff was so friendly and very helpful when it came to my fled Italian. It's worth a stop when you come by.

5€ for espresso and latte, you can’t pay via card without a problem. Messy bath. It’s the worst caffeteria I’ve ever been in Italy.

Very expensive espresso and cappuccino, but just for tourists.. there are two seperate menus.. A really unpleasant experience..

Great value for money, very friendly staff. Clean room perfect for a quick meal in Siena center near the best known attractions.
