We ducked in here because it was raining and the restaurant was handy. We were greeted by a grumpy waiter who wanted to be sure we knew that didn’t serve pasta and pizza before he would seat us. Once we assured him that we had read the menu, he became. Very nice and service was excellent. I had Chickpea hummus which was served warm and topped with shaved cauliflower and Parmesan outstanding. My husband had an equally good deli sandwich. We shared superb tiramisu for dessert.

Staff unprofessional and arrogant, very unfriendly and not attentive at all. View obviously good as on a square adjacent to the dome. Food is ok (hard to mess up with a simplistic menu). Overall experience offputting because of the staff.

Don’t read trip advisor reviews ! Excellent food service and wine choice . Exceptional value just outside il duomo . Staff are efficient and accommodating

Come on! Take a few more steps from Piazza del Campo... You get out of the crowd.. and enter the CITY HEALTH!

I had lunch here on the occasion of a quick visit of the city, and I was pleasantly impressed, both for the friendliness of staff and for the speed of service, and for the goodness of food. In addition, the value for money is great. I tasted the Maremma ravioli with parmesan fondue and caramel cheesecake (made in the house) and I was very satisfied. Super recommended!
