Sultan's Market - side

Is not a surprise to find more and more 5 stars reviews for Sultan's Market. Definitely one of the most interesting, diverse and fair places in Chicago. If you have a taste for Mideaster/Mediterranean cuisine, you have to go to Sultan's ASAP!!!

The staff was somewhat pleasant but the establishment was old, which isn't bad, but it was creepy/dirty and I felt I needed a shower after being inside and had ZERO middle eastern authenticity. Having dated middle eastern folks, I have been exposed to GREAT food; this is NOT it, not even slightly close. Same low quality food new higher prices, at least when the prices were lower you get what you pay for

Must try the egg and cheese pies. The Kefka is also a favorite along with the rice and lentils, and Jerusalem salad. I would eat here every day if I still lived close.

Everything we had was great. Try the salad bar for 6.99/lbs definitely worth it!!
