Not the highest quality saffron. The saffron had a stale odor and metallic tasting notes. Not the worst but certainly should be better given their company story. However, the Herati Coriander was very good. Reviewing on here because it would not allow for reviews on the website, automatically giving an error message when i clicked two stars.

Excellent spices from Afghanistan. Love the mission! Tried the Berbere Spice Blend last night with chicken thighs. Great flavor with a moderate spicy kick to it.

I received my package in two shipments and didn't realize this is how it would arrive. So I initially was worried that I only had a partial shipment. I emailed twice with no answer, however on FB, I did receive a reply that day, that my second package would arrive the following day and it did. In regards to the spices, they are wonderful!
