Pearl's Southern Comfort - side

Had brunch with out of Towner friends. Great food wonderful waiter and staff.

Food was very good, server was excellent. But the hostess was terrible. She gave our party of 4 a table near the door (cold! . Before we sat, we asked to move to one of the many empty tables further away, but she said she was saving them in case they needed to push them together for a large party. Not 5 minutes later she seated another party of 4 at one of those tables. From our drafty table we were able to watch her spend most of the night on her phone.

3 of us went for lunch. We each got a bowl of gumbo that was delicious! We decided to share appetizers. We got cornbread, catfish bites, and wings. Everything was wonderful. A great place to try if you like southern or cajun food or like to share. Next time I am in Chicago I would definitely go again. Also, service was prompt and attentive.

Delicious as always! One of our favorite restaurants of all time. Great atmosphere and outstanding food.
