Bidrage med feedback100 ml wine $20. 20% Gratuity added to the bill on top. The restaurant somehow feels entitled to a 20% gratuity. This is loot and unethical. Tell your customers upfront in bold letters that you will charge a mandatory 20% Gratuity. Be transparent not entitled.
I stayed at the hotel for a few days had lunch on 7/16/24. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with Caesar salad for lunch. The sandwich was a good size. It was delicious. The Caesar salad wasn’t what I’m used to. I didn’t like it. They use a vinegar base dressing instead of a traditional creamy salad dressing. You don’t need your reservation walking are acceptable. For dinner I had the bone in ribeye. It was cooked to my liking. I don’t use the order A1. The taste wasn’t good. It was not well seasoned. It was bland! The mashed potatoes was very tasty delicious. My other side was I believe was grill corn-Not Good! On 7/17/ 24 had lunch dinner. Lunch I had the turkey club with fries. It was delicious. For dinner just had the crab cake very delicious. They don’t gives Military/ Veterans discount. The staff was OUTSTANDING!
For a 5 bill they added 7 gratuity. That is ridiculous. Restaurants should note that gratuity is not their right. To force a gratuity that is over 100% of the bill is unacceptable. Gratuity is exactly that. A way of the customer to express gratitude. To force that is an insult to the customer. Once there... never again.
The steak was good. The roasted asparagus was excellent possibly best I have had worldwide. Server, Francisco, was personable and added greatly to the experience.
We ordered the signature dishes, the Delmonico and the 23 layer cake. Both were amazing and worth every bite! The truffle fries and the asparagus were also great. Just not sure why a 16 oz steak is served up as if it’s one portion. 4 oz is a standard protein serving. We ordered 2 Delmonicos for our table of six and asked for them to be sliced so we could share. The presentation could have been better by serving the steaks on a cutting board instead of 2 plates. We also had terrible service, but it was lunch time so maybe the same standards don’t apply in the bar. Our sides came out first before we had plates and silverware. And the steaks came out 5 min later.
