Was in town for work last week and SB came highly recommended. It did not disappoint. The cocktails were creative and delicious. Each bite from apitizers to desert was more amazing than the one before it. The Nigri was out of this world with creative flavors and it was likely the freshest and finest cuts sushi I've ever had. A very well thought out menu and flawlessly executed. Our entire party agreed that even in a food town like Chicago, this place really stood out. Well done team!

Surprisingly fresh and flavorful sushi in the Claridge Hotel lobby. We had the 5 course tasting menu. Inventive takes on traditional dishes with small touches that added character to each course. First course a salmon crudo that reminded as much of a crevice as Japanese. Second was sashimi but served in a container wisping of smoke that added savory tones to the dish. Third was Maki roll selection and fourth an uni hand roll scallop seemed the best. Mochi to finish it up. Beverage selection a bit odd as they didn’t have tea or sparkling water, but small detraction from a memorable meal.

Very nice dinner, with great service and tasteful meals. The cocktail kisshoten was really good!

Definitely recommend this place for a date night! The ambiance and music is a vibe with the exception if the future Grammt award winning “We dont talk about Bruno” starting to play and suddenly was switched off. Live in the neighborhood, found this place and decided to try it. Fresh fish and really great flavors. Nice atmosphere and great service. Forgot to take a picture because the food was so good. It’s worth a visit!!
