Bidrage med feedbackI had one of my best Chicken dishes, Frontier Chicken, here. It is an un-assuming restaurant on W. Devon Street. It is a sauteed cubed chicken dish with tomatoes, onions, peppers and spices. The texture reminded me of Kung Pao chicken. The dish is mainly red in color due to the Tomatoes. It was pretty tasty. It came with two delicious large chappattis. The interior is simple with table clothed tables and chairs. The service was friendly and family run. The menu had many dishes, but it will take a few more visits to enjoy their other dishes.
This is one of the best Indian/Pakistani food restaurants on the Devon Street. It is a family run place and everyone is treated as family. You can tell that from the time you walk in until you have paid. I have also catered from this place, and they are able not only create food that is on the menu or off the menu, just ask the owner. My family loved the Mutton Biryani and Chicken Boti that we got for my son's graduation party. We also had Gulab Jamun
This was a reunion lunch with a friend who shares my passion for Indian, Pakistani and Afghani food. After a night of partying nothing less could do the business. The food here is honest, fresh and oozing with flavor! It was a bit of a drive from downtown but worth every hunger pang along the way. No alcohol here and at lunch it was not a problem at all.
I am a new implant in Chicago and heard great things about the food on Devon even before I arrived. I tried the big names first and was indeed impressed compared to what I found in Georgia, North Carolina, Colorado, Florida, etc. A former co worker highly recommended this place so I thought of giving it a try and I am so happy that I did. Went there late on a saturday night, ordered takeout of Mutton Biryani, Chicken Chapli kebab, Dal of the day and Mutton Qorma, everything was just super delicious and just really good quality food, portions are huge. Service can be slow but they do take care of you in the end. They have earned a loyal customer in me, can't wait to try their other stuff on the menu. P.S They do take a while 30 45 mins to prepare your food so call ahead if you don't want to wait.
I have been eating at this restaurant for about 13 years now. The roal paratha they have is yummy. All foods are crazy tasteful. Recommended place. If you near by you gotta have it. This is all halal and kosher menu.
