Bidrage med feedbackLove this place. Lovely decorations and yummy food ofc!
Favourite hangout place whenever I am back in Sibu. Love the ambience, and definitely the food! Simply marvellous
Food is nice here, staff are friendly. Environment and deco are authentic and light dimming. Love the aura here. Although i always order western dishes here, they do provide some Chinese local cuisine.
Mac and cheese is like mac and masak lemak. But the lady finger is good.
Perhaps the name is misleading as it is actually a well established restaurant that spans over three floors. Right next to the iconic Sibu landmark, the Chinese temple, the restaurant is popular among locals and tourists. The interior is beautifully decorated with rustic feeling combining both Asian and Western styles. We were greeted immediately and brought to our table at the second floor. We ordered four dishes for three of us. The first dish is the signature fried rice served with cincaluk sauce (a local fermented prawn sauce). The portion is decent and the sauce is simply amazing. The grilled chicken is done perfectly tender and well marinated. Dip in the brown sauce, the meat is flavorful and very juicy. For a more adventurous experience, we had two local dishes the Dayak lamb stew and the big rice noodle with prawns and pickled veggies. My favourite is the lamb stew. The combined taste of the meat, dark soy sauce and fermented bean curb, gives it a sweet and flavorful base and the occasional bites of the fermented bean curb gives it an extra salty kick. The big rice soup noodle is traditionally a foochew favourite dish. The soup base is rich and is inclined towards a full sour taste. I thought it will make a good appetizing soup though we had it as a main course. Overall, the experience is above my expectation. The price is slightly above average but certainly great value for money. I would highly recommend to any visitors to Sibu. P.s pork free and meat is from halal sources.
