The Railway Inn - Shropshire

Horrendous. Everyone fighting. Bar staff not in control and did not know how to control the situation. People allowed to drink accessively and vause physical violence.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. We made a reservation for 19 people over the weekend for a dinner to celebrate a leaving do. We booked for 5:30pm as we had children with us and it was a school night. We received a confirmation message from the pub saying everything was booked and fine. However, when we arrived at the pub, we were told by the woman behind the bar that the kitchen was closed. We had not received any calls or messages to inform us that our reservation would not be honored, leaving us and our 9 hungry kids stranded. The woman behind the bar showed no remorse or apology for the inconvenience. We will not be returning to this establishment.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and we all had a great time. The only downside was that some menu items did not include burgers or sausages. The outdoor seating area was lovely, but unfortunately, a loud woman caused some problems for the management. Would I dine there again? Absolutely, yes, yes, yes.

Fantastic little pub, just up from the station.....whenever I come to Westbury I always pop in , lovely friendly bar staff , chilled pint glasses .....locals warm and friendly......

I had made a reservation for 8 people at The Railway Inn for my birthday. I had been in contact with the pub and had given our orders 5 days in advance. However, when we arrived, we were not greeted by any staff members. The room we walked into had tables and chairs but it was shabby and in need of upgrading. There were no tables set up for our group and we were not approached by any staff during our short time there. When we finally spoke to a staff member, we were met with indifference, which was disappointing. We decided to leave the pub immediately. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend The Railway Inn. We ended up going to another pub where we received the service we expected.
