This charming traditional pub offers a great selection of real ales. We ordered sandwiches, which came with chips, coleslaw, and salad. It was excellent value for money and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Great selection of local real ales and more likely with a beautiful, slightly old fashion atmosphere. the food was a bit of average, but overall a really nice pub.

I met up with friends for a birthday dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They also had a great variety of drinks to choose from.

Overall, the meal was quite good. Some parts could have been improved, but the roast was delicious with great flavor. The dessert was just okay, but still worth the price.

Nice pub. Nice range of real ale. Nice building. Nice interior. Nice bar area. Friendly staff. Great stairs. Big on medium priced pub food and large seating area at back concentrating on food clientele. Basic and not that sweet smelling toilets.
