Uptowne Mediterranean - Shrewsbury

I can't believe it's taken me this long to do a review on Uptowne. My wife and I have been coming here a couple years now, I've probably tried half the menu at this point... Family owned, super friendly and hands down the best food around. The portions are always generous and they are very reasonably priced. Just an all around great experience every time we come here. Chris is also the best waiter ever!

I tried the spicy lamb roll-up at Uptowne Mediterranean restaurant and was completely blown away by its flavour and tenderness! The lamb was cooked to perfection, char on the outside and juicy, pink interior. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and had hint of fresh herbs. I also tried their falafel wrap, which was delicious. The wrap was soft and lightly toasted, filled with scrumptious falafel and fresh lettuce. Overall, I highly recommend spicy lamb roll-up and their fries for anyone craving good Lebanese meal.

This place is hands-down the best Mediterranean food in the area! I would highly recommend it!

The mix kabab grill was absolutely delicious! And the flavors of the mix kabab grill were amazing. I really enjoyed it.

Uptowne is a phenomenal spot for authentic middle eastern cuisine, for take out or for a casual dine in experience. In addition to great shawarma and falafel, I highly recommend the potato chop for something different as an appetizer, and the spicy chicken kebab is delicious and unique. The couple who run it are delightful and Lisa is a wonderful waitress. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!
