El Jimador Supremo - Shreveport

My husband found this little place on Rrip Advisor. Great tasting food, very reasonable prices, super clean and the wait staff was outstanding!!! Old style decor with eclectic lighting and recessed lite ceiling.

Good atmosphere. Warm crispy chips and salsa was good. Friendly and welcoming staff. Daughter had grilled chicken ranchero and it was excellent. Hubby enjoyed the chimichanga. I liked my crispy taco. Enchiladas were ok, still on the hunt though for the perfect enchilada.????

Food was average. I should have just gone to Taco Bell. The enchilada tasted like it came from a can I?ve bought from the store. Admittedly, I have traveled to other states where the Tex-Mex food bar is high.

First time visiting El Jimador and we really enjoyed it. Service was excellent as well as food drinks . If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit this location.

1st time in...will absolutely come back! Salsa is flavorful and not spicy! Prices were good for the amount of food! The add ons, like sour cream and the salad was not good. 1.85 for a very small portion of sour cream! Chips were warm! Server was great! Menu is a bit long to look through! Ask for Mark!
