Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Shorter

I make the trip from Troy to Auburn twice a month, and I always stop at the Popeye's off I-85 at the Shorter exit for the Popcorn Shrimp Tackle Box Combo. It's consistently hot and fresh, with just the right amount of that famous Popeye's Cajun spice. It truly is the best meal on the menu! I give it 5 stars!

This restaurant is located right next to a truck stop, but they only offer drive-thru service. Honestly, I wish they would just shut down rather than keep operating this way. It would be great if no delivery drivers brought food to them either. The rest of the country has returned to normal operations, so if they can't do the same, they should just close up. This half-open situation is becoming really frustrating. As truck drivers, we can't simply move to the next stop since the regulations require us to rest for 10 hours.

I should have checked the reviews first! I never even got to the intercom to place my order. I waited about 10 minutes before deciding to leave. The truck stop has better food and service; they have everything you need. This Popeye's doesn’t support its customers, so I can't recommend them!

Don't bother stopping! Got charged 34.99 and I'm missing biscuits and mashed potatoes. Everyone seemed to be confused about what their job was. 2 people were in there before me correcting their order. I've called them several times and the phone is off the hook. KEEP DRIVING!

I would suggest that you keep past this one, and go to the new one just a few exits east.... When we walked in, there were artwork people inside with complaints. They couldn't get three orders wrong in a row, right? WRONG...... Jacked it all the way up... Oh, and don't bother to call to speak to someone, because the line is busy...
