Bidrage med feedbackMy mom has the Tofu pop and my sister has a burger and said her food was okay. I tried the cauliflower wings, the Brussels sprouts and the Korean potatoes. We all agreed that the Brussels sprouts were quite terrible; roasted Brussels sprouts are usually one of my favorite foods, but they were saturated with oil to some kind of nausea. The pickled onions upstairs were good. The cauliflower wings were fine, they are usually another favorite of me, but they lubricated more like flour than flower or buffalo sauce. I liked the Kichi potatoes. I think this is one of my new favorite potato dishes, although the Cole-slaw liked to be a little slanted. Well-kept vegetables or actual Kimchi would have been nicer, in my opinion. The mood is funny (although it was on the louder side, if this is a concern for you), and I like the sound of much of their food on paper. However, I was not impressed by most courts I tried, and I think this place is somewhat overhyped.
Wife and I tried Cloud Red, and this place is great! We had the Buffalo Cauliflower and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious and the portions were out of control! We initially have more and more items, but decided to start only with the two as you order at the bar and food is delivered to your seat. I'm glad we did this because we couldn't finish the two apps that were so good. Enough to go back and try more deals. They have games to play, so we sat and played a few knabbers. Drinks were good. The atmosphere was beautiful. As others have said, it will be loud. After closing the kitchen (9 pm), the music became louder and from a restaurant that has a large bar, to more of a bar, the great food (up to 9) vibe. Either it's great!
This place is quite hoppin'! Find your seats first as it gets full! Sit, then order the bar. The menus hang on the wall so you will see a few people standing in the middle of the room and looking at the wall. It's a bad setup considering how full it comes in here. A QR code on the table with an online menu could be a better option? Or come to yelp and check out the menu! I added pictures below. Bartender were great and the food was quite amazing. Crispy Brussel Sprouts: If you hate Brussel sprouts, skip it, but if you want to give it a chance, I would say that is the place to do it. 1/2 LB Burger is actually cheaper than the Brussel shoot. They complement each other very well. It can be quite loud inside, so not your romantic spot (the road down to Buttermint for it), but if you are looking for a funny, loud, delicious spot, it is.
At a restaurant that likes to put a bit of a spin on the usual offerings, this burger is a solid classic. If you’re craving what you think a traditional burger tastes like this will fill the void.
I have only ever done takeout here, but the interior is nice and staff are friendly! I usually call to order since they don't always have the website available to place orders on. The food here is so great interesting mix of cuisines and flavors that totally works. I usually only order from here when I'm w a few people so we get lots of stuff to share. Normally we default to share the buffalo cauliflower and Brussel sprouts to start, but the nachos are also fantastic. My favorite entree is the chicken po'boy, which has toppings similar to a bahn mi. They do a great job accommodating vegetarians and folks that are gluten free. This is a real Shorewood gem!
