Xhaka Restaurant Bar - Shkoder

When we came to shirokë, many of the restaurants were blocked by my flut, but we found a restaurant that was open and even had a good Google review. it has stars and reviews. when we were there, we saw why. first they were in a good position because they were over the road from the lake and their restaurant was elevated and necessary steps to reach. the name of the restaurant was xhaka restaurant bar and they could not make that they feel more than they are home. the owner comes out to take her order and even bring her food to them when it is finished. there was no menu, but he said he prepared in the regular fish and/or meat for tourists. they also had the opportunity to have an salate or kartoffel. we chose the fish and carrots. when it was finished, they brought some whole baked fish like us in durrrës and the kartoffels were French pommes. the table next to us had a great time. there we share older gentleman fish, laugh and a huge carafe red wine.

We fell in love with this place. in a nice hot day, the air-conditioned dining room was a delight. choose from the menu or choose fresh fish! My boyfriend really enjoyed his delicious coal mintage. My simple but perfect eel. prices are extremely reasonable. Just a real delight.

I had the chance to visit this amazing place on my last visit to Albania. A very humble restaurant, serving the best, freshest and most delicious food. It seems to be a family business and the staff (the members of the family) are really great, they made sure that we not only enjoyed the meals there but also our stay in Shiroka. And the last but not least, the prices are incredibly affordable. A must!
