Bidrage med feedbackService was super, friendly, without being intrusive. the menu is short, but what they do is very good. the cakes and desserts are where they stand. here's my handle. what would have been the best sticky toffee pudding I ever had was ruined by the served with vegan vanilla ice cream. I have nothing against vegan or vegan food, I enjoy a lot of it, it is just that vegan vanillaeis is not very good. the Daft thing is the sticky toffee pudding itself is not vegan!
Very good food and delightful service, and in a lovely place to visit.
Friendly service with a smile at Salt's Diner. Popped in for a quick coffee and cake with my family whilst visiting the gallery. The coffee is supplied by one of my favourite local roasters, Dark Woods and was strong and tasty as I would expect. We ordered chocolate cake, a frangipane and a Strawberry Streusel cake, which were all delicious. Good value in a great location. Will be back soon.
The restaurant is located in a stunning, spacious old wool mill that has been beautifully converted into a gallery and shops, complete with a lovely café. The charming Victorian village of Saltair, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, features enchanting houses, a picturesque park, a canal, and a railway station.
Once we were seated, the staff tended to our needs in a reasonable timeframe. The food took longer to arrive than we expected, but given the crowd, it was understandable (though still not a great excuse). The quality of the food was excellent overall, but it did suffer slightly due to the high demand. I recommend giving it a try, but be prepared for delays during peak times. I hope the management takes my feedback into consideration to make the minor improvements needed to achieve a five-star rating in the future.
