Ebisu Yama-no-ue - Shibuya-ku

It was time for people to enter the restaurant when I booked around 19:00. When you enter this time, the order is mixed, so it may take time to cook. However, I think that you can not get bored by looking at the grill area from the counter seat because it looks good. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were very good.

I stumbled upon this place while web surfing before our trip to Tokyo and made a reservation on Opentable (which is very convenient because a lot of restaurants in Japan take reservation only by phone) a week ahead. It is about 5 min walk from Ebisu station in a quiet neighbourhood. You have to go up a hill but not for long. There seemed to be good restaurants along the way. Inside, very cozy casual atmosphere. Basically we were the only tourists, the place was packed with local 20~30 somethings. Good list of wine and beverage. Tasty food in reasonable portions. The only let down is that it takes a loooooooooooooong time for a dish to come out as there are only 2 chefs working. People didn't seem to mind this delay as they took their time drinking and talking but we had to take off for another appointment so I would advise you to go here only if you have plenty of time to spare ar night. At least 2~3 hours.

大人も楽しめるお店です。オープンキッチンなので、カウンターから料理が作られている様子が見え、安心感があります。女性客も多く、サラダ、肉、魚、チーズ、デザートなど、メニューの種類が豊富で、どれも美味しくて充実したバルでした。ワインの種類も豊富で、高品質なワインをリーズナブルな価格で楽しむことができました。

予約をしていたのですが、当日の午後に店舗から連絡がなかったため、「受け入れができない場合はお越しをお断りします」とのことでした。システムの問題についての説明がなかったため、大変不満に感じました。食事が提供されないことや、参加者が困っていることについても一切無視されました。このアプリにも問題があるとは思いますが、店舗として予約をしているお客様に対する配慮が欠けていると感じました。このサイトを訪れるのは初めてではありませんが、こちらの店舗やサイトをお勧めすることはできません。これは私の実体験に基づく印象です。

私は妻とデートを楽しんできました。夕食の予約は必須で、料理のクオリティは非常に高いです。食事やサービスも素晴らしく、柔軟な対応が印象に残りました。
