Oh come on with the **** masks already! I can understand the caution in 2020 or 2021, but now? Just let people make their own decisions and live their lives! Expect the staff to actually try to force you to wear one for those few seconds between the registry and your seat. Ridiculous! Especially as other establishments in Sugamo do understand there is no mandate in place and you will be left alone. Just go somewhere else until they stop their overzealous behaviour (the coffee is good, but not phenomenal Komeda has a better menu and nicer environment).

Excellent location and meeting point just outside Sugamo station. There are a few outside deck seats, so nice in the sun on a fall, winter or spring day. Inside seating and good coffee, sweets, sandwiches. There is a unique Sugumo pudding too, only here, check it out!

They have a variety of meals to choose from. Their breakfast menu in particular is very affordable and filling. They have seats on the outside and a smoking area. I usually go here to get some work done or just to burn time. The downside is that there are no charging ports.

Favorite place for a quick breakfast. An order of a tiny bacon and eggs with two thick buttered toasts and coffee for around 350 yen is very good morning upper.

The breakfast is pretty good and the coffee is excellent
