Morisco - شفشاون

El Morisco is a restaurant that boasts the most beautiful terrace overlooking the Arian Square in Chefchaouen. I chose a sunny November afternoon to enjoy the warmth of the sun. The terrace, which you access via an internal staircase, offers a stunning view of the Kasbah and is located on the second level of the building. The meat tajine was generous, featuring a substantial piece of lamb. The service was efficient and friendly. I believe that on warm days, dining on the terrace is preferable, especially in the shade of the tree by the street.

We sat down for a seemingly ordinary dinner, but as soon as we looked at the menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the very affordable prices. A complete meal (starter, main course, dessert, bread, and drink) cost us around 6€. While we enjoyed our meal, there were a couple of singers performing in the square, which made for a delightful atmosphere.
