Joe's Burgers - Sherwood

Joe's has been included in the list of the top 20 burger spots in Portland, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered their classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The fries were decent, but nothing special. However, the burger was a disappointment. The meat patty was extremely thin and overwhelmed by the heavy sauce, making it impossible to taste the meat. The sauce, which seemed like thousand island dressing, overpowered the grilled onions, which were sparse. There was a small, unripe tomato slice and hardly any lettuce. Overall, it was not a great experience. Now I know better.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time and were extremely impressed with the quality of the burger and fries. We especially appreciated the gluten-free bun and the fact that they use a dedicated fryer for the French fries. The restaurant was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

WOW!!! The innovation and resourcefulness of this place. Who would think you could repurpose ceiling tiles into burger patties. A+ rating. 4 sandwiches, chicken nuggets (that are currently on the floor) and $100.00 later all we get is a full trash can. Also tone it down on the salt Jesus I’m thirsty. Thank you Joe for our Stupendous meal.

I loved their chili. Reminded me of the chili at the original Tommy’s in LA LA ?

Went there for Lunch, got 2 Burgers, had to pay for fries and drinks extra, bill came to 28+dollars because you have to tip extra, so over 30 dollars for two Burgers (frozen meatpatties) french fries tastet bla, service not friendly. Definitely never go there again.Did not finish my food, only ate a little because I had to pay that much for two lousy burgers ? got a stomachache!!!!
