Browns Socialhouse - Sherwood Park

I had a conversation with Tina at this Sherwood Park location, which is one of only two places in Canada (the other being Camrose, AB) that offers a celiac program. All the servers and kitchen staff are well-trained, and they take extra precautions beyond just having a dedicated fryer and gluten-free buns. They provide gluten-free batters and sauces, such as teriyaki. There are plenty of gluten-free options on the menu, including burgers, a crispy chicken sandwich, rice bowls, crispy cauliflower, nachos, and fish tacos (made with corn tortillas), among many others. Tina walked me through the entire menu, and I was impressed by the variety of choices available, even including a brownie for dessert.

This is one of my favorite spots for gluten-free food! The staff and owners are extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination, and I always feel well taken care of. Many items on their menu can be made gluten-free, which is fantastic. My top choice is their spicy crispy chicken sandwich—it's absolutely delicious! Plus, they have a dedicated fryer at this location. I highly recommend it!

My FAVE GF restraunt! They take 100% care of you don’t make you feel like it’s any inconvenience! Love the GF calamari, fish chips…sooooo good! Your GF order will be delivered by a separate team member, ie/ a Manager to ensure it does not get confused with a similar entree that is not GF. Tina the staff are AMAZING!
