On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina W. Mckinney

The bartender, Madison, was incredibly welcoming and crafted a delicious drink for me. Everyone in the establishment had a wonderful attitude, creating a very inviting atmosphere.

I unfortunately chose to dine at the On the Border restaurant in McKinney, TX. My husband and I were taken aback! The waitress appeared to be quite attentive...

I dined while rats scurried around my feet. I cannot recommend this place. The food was not terrible, but the service was unacceptable.

We walked in and noticed a sign informing us that they were understaffed and that we should expect longer wait times. We considered going to another restaurant, but ultimately decided to stay and see how things went. I'm really glad we did! After about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting, our waitress, who was clearly managing every table, greeted us promptly. We placed our drink order and received our drinks in under two minutes. She returned quickly to take our food order, and once again, the service was fast! Our meals were served hot, fresh, and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

"I had a great time at the restaurant! They had a live performance from a high school band, which added to the atmosphere. I tried some appetizers, including chips and dips, along with margaritas. The regular margarita was decent, but I particularly enjoyed the one with coconut and blue curaçao. The staff was friendly and efficient, although they were quite busy, which is understandable. Thanks to everyone for taking good care of us!"
