On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina W. Mckinney

I went and was of a nice looking herrn (brandon, I think his name was) shantel behind the bar was super great and fun to speak. friendly faces, great environment, great drinks highly recommended!

I was a little scared to visit because of the low rating of this location. Based on my experience, It is entirely undeserved. The general manager clearly cares and works hard to offer his customers a great experience. My waiter was exceptional and well trained. The other wait staff were clearly quick and friendly as well. There is a slight wait for someone to notice you and to have time to seat you but not unreasonably so. You certainly are not ignored. The food was hot, fresh, and yummy. The cooks can use a bit more experience with presentation but the recipies are the same great OTB we all love and serving them before they get cold is more critical to me than a little sticking together or timing issues. I'm not sure why others have had an issue but ignore that and go try them for yourselves. It's more likely your smile will be earned here.

Had a waitress and it was her first day. She was amazing. Customer service was great.

Food was ok. Standard on the border menu and taste. Our server was very good . She took care of our food restrictions and ensured we understand the options. Big thumbs up to her.

Overall an good place stuff your month and get messy. Seated on entry Spacious between each table but the tables for 4 is a bit crammed if your squad are gluttons Fresh warm chips with salsa Every element of the dish is well seasoned and flavored but sauce was bland Server was very attentive but for foods like these, extra napkins should be available on table
