Catrina's Cocina Tequila - Sherman

The food here is exceptional! I've tried something new each visit, which is quite unusual for me. It's always a treat to see the delicious dishes that others order as they come out. I'm a big fan of the table-side guacamole! I definitely recommend checking out the tequila menu too!

The food was somewhat mediocre; definitely not the best I've had. The manager was quite rude, and the waiter didn't provide any explanations about the menu. I was charged $11 for a margarita on the rocks, which I felt was overpriced, especially since I was there during happy hour. The waiter informed me they don't offer strawberry margaritas during that time. Overall, the service was lacking due to poor management.

Wow! This place has amazing food! I definitely plan on coming back. The prices are affordable, and the service is fantastic. Keep up the great work, Catrina's Cocina!

My friend and I went out for lunch on a Tuesday and decided to try the Street Tacos special. Unfortunately, the chicken and steak were bland, lacking any seasoning, so we had to rely on salsa for flavor. Additionally, it took longer than usual for our order to arrive. Thankfully, we weren’t in a rush to get back to work, or we would have ended up late.

I initially thought the restaurant looked appealing and had received positive reviews online, but I was quite disappointed. While the server was excellent, the food and pricing fell short. The drinks at the bar were very pricey, and the food did not arrive hot. I ordered a steak chimi, and the meat was rubbery and tough. For three of us to have lunch with one drink each, the total came to $86, which seems quite high for a Mexican restaurant. We could have dined at a much nicer place for that amount! I won’t be returning.
