The One Up - Sherman Oaks

It was sweet and hip. The menu was a little bit down, but still a great one for what we expected. Drinks were very strong (for LA) and service was friendly!

Who knew I would get so amazing food in a diving style arcade bar. Nicely surprised. The truffles parmesan tater dead were a good problem

The service is excellent. The drinks are great. But the arcade is terrible. Half the machines the joysticks are broken or sticky, the screens are cloudy and discolored, very few of the machines are original (they do a multiselect thing). It's unlikely that I will come back. This arcade bar needs to level up it's gaming machines or it's doomed to fail.

So glad I found this gem ? ! The atmosphere is very welcoming and chill. Chris is a very good bartender and server. There are multiple arcade kiosks to choose from, all with mostly the same games except for Mortal Kombat in its own kiosk and a maybe 2 other ones. The cookie baked in a skillet with vanilla ice cream in top is soooo good and is large enough to share with someone. I would highly recommend for fellow gamers who are looking to play old school games and to have a good time by the bar.

Ok spot, limited beer selection and the games are alright. Portions are so tiny for the price.
