Bidrage med feedbackSuch a dope spot in the valley. Was way pass 4 on a Saturday. They were not serving the Bento box but made and exception. It did not disappoint!!! Fantastic
Stopped in today for some New Zealand oysters that were quite fresh and was reasonably priced for a dozen. They offer shucked oysters for dine in or unshucked to take home.
Everything is done extremely well here. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is great. I went for the seafood ... dry aged fish, smoked fish, fresh shellfish ... and more. Keep coming back for the coffee ... this should not be overlooked. And bakery goods ... what?? I have zero complaints here ... except that my wallet is much lighter
Holy cow!! And not a good cow. This review is strictly for breakfast. Why oh why is this place opened for breakfast. Is it just me or do you want to walk in first thing to a cafe smelling like rotten fish. I vomited in the bathroom. Literally. I had to stay because I had a business meeting otherwise I would have left. No variety of food. Nothing gluten free. Out of everything. I'm still thinking about this place two days later because of the awful stench. They have aged fish hanging in refrigerators. It's disgusting and not something I want to smell or eat for breakfast. Nope. Never again.
This place is incredible. I stopped by to pick up a piece of salmon the other day and the guy working started to tell me about their dry-aged fish. I was a little skeptical at first, I had never heard of it. I almost said no, but for some reason, decided to give it a go, and boy am I glad I did. This fish is high quality, you can even make sashimi with it. I decided to bake mine, when I tell you it literally melted in my mouth I am not lying. Probably the best salmon I've ever had. All I did was put olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper. The dry aging removes moisture and cleans the fish blood, slime, etc is dried out), so there is NO and I mean ZERO fish taste whatsoever. It doesn't stink up the house, and you could literally put a blindfold on and put it up to your nose and not recognize the fish smell. The only downside is that you will be paying more than your average piece of salmon. However, to my knowledge, this is the only place nearby where you can find dry-aged fish, so it's no surprise they charge a premium.
