We dined there for two lunches (upstairs) and one dinner (downstairs) while we were in the area. Each experience was consistently excellent, with friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere was lovely as well.

At the table next to us, a gentleman requested a dish without fries, opting for a salad instead as a healthier choice. The waitress dismissively told him that he shouldn't expect to get more salad just because he didn't want fries. Another patron, a lady, asked for her tartare without olives, only to be told that the kitchen doesn’t accommodate any changes to the menu because it’s "too stressful for the cooks when the restaurant is very busy." Customer service certainly needs improvement. The table next to ours decided to cancel their order and leave due to the waitress's rude and dismissive attitude. It makes us wonder why restaurants are closing down. For a $130 lunch, we expect better treatment and care from the staff. In summary, while the food was good, you really need to be very hungry to tolerate such poor service. I don't know if the owners support this approach, but if I were in their position, I would be embarrassed.
