Golden Gate Chinese Takeaway - Shepway

Probably the best Chinese takeaway in the area but also the most expensive. Cooking is a good standard for a takeaway, and the food is less salty than most. We were disappointed with the Singapore noodles, there’s no bean sprouts or peppers or onions and hardly any prawns and too much curry powder!

My family and I have been visiting this takeaway for nearly 30 years. Absolutely spot on every time we visit. Everything has an authentic taste. Would highly recommend

Amazing food, always. We frequently get Chinese takeaway from Golden Gate as the food is always delicious and fresh. Some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten, and we've eaten a lot of Chinese food all around the world! We went last night and it was as delicious as ever, huge portions, so reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Clean kitchen, you can watch them cook. The best covid procedures in place of anywhere I've been in this pandemic. Staff so polite and accommodating, even to my annoying requests! If you're thinking of getting a Chinese then go to golden gate. You won't be disappointed.
