The Pottery Kitchen - Shepton Beauchamp

Came across this by chance yesterday and spent a wonderful couple of hours there. We weren't planning on eating but the satisfied noises from other tables persuaded us. 2 smoked chicken salads, 2 cheese scones(actually the best we've ever had), 2 cakes and ciders later we were very happy. The staff were lovely, friendly and surprisingly attentive seeing it was very busy (they had a pottery open day exquisite ceramics and again, lovely staff) the perfect place to spend an afternoon, we will be back.

A lovely find off the beaten track whilst exploring Somerset with Australian visitors. Smiley and charming staff and delicious, home-made food on offer. Gluten-free chum was well catered for. Well worth a visit!

A great lunch, really enjoyed it. Would go back, the staff were very helpful.

Love this place. Great food, delicious cake (love the Victoria Sponge) and all served up in beautiful surroundings.
