Pho Corner Wichita Falls

Ordered pick up. I got the Siracha wings and this is what I see when I open the bowl. Absolutely disgusted with this place.

It looked good on the app, we stopped in just passing through town. The staff was nice inside was nice had a modern look, and clean. Minus the fruit flies or gnats every where but I can look past that. I ordered the combo pho medium and the portion size was bigger than expected. Broth was tasty and was enjoying it until I got to a piece of beef that had the unmistakable taste of rotten. And unfortunately that ruined the rest of the bowel couldn't keep eating after that having to question every bite. Too bad probably won't return.

I ordered the pho combo (pho dac biet), viet egg rolls and chicken wings. The food was not good at all. I know how to make authentic Vietnamese food and know what good pho should taste like. This ain't it. The food tastes like the chef used a Rachel Ray recipe. Pho the broth is too sweet and lacking. It seems like the sugar was used to mask the bland taste of the broth. Maybe the chef should try roasting the spices (star anise, cinnamon, etc) before sticking them in the broth. The meat did not taste right and they were cheap with the serving. When the pho came out the noodles were over cooked which made them mushy. Also, use a deep pho bowl. Viet egg rolls these weren't viet egg rolls. Don't call them viet if they don't have bean noods or black fungus or fish sauce dip. What they made was lumpia and their version of lumpia was disgusting. Chicken wings not crispy and the sauce it was tossed in was watered down. At least offer a Saigon style option. If you want to do a viet fusion restaurant at least use some of the main ingredients of viet cuisine: fish sauce and white sugar

Pho was very delicious when kitchen members weren’t a new ppl. I’ve visited here since last year and Pho tastes so bad now… Sometimes it tastes good sometimes it tastes so bad. Pho was EXTREMELY SALTY today (I had to stop eating it after two bites and drink a whole cup of water) and now they serve so little amount of rice noodles (I had to ask for an extra noodle bc it was just so little amount). I usually order S size and have never asked for an extra noodle in my life. I am not a big eater… It wasn’t like this last year. I just feel like kitchen staff have never tried pho before and they tryna work at pho restaurant. The server was super nice tho. And their spring rolls is always good.

Seriously, would have rated this excellent place 5. However, I 'm allergic to seafood and this is a seafood lover 's dream. Great prices, fast, courteous service and... the pho broth was so tasty I HAD to overeat. I was there during the lunch hour, so the place wasn 't too busy. Offering a full bar, however, this spot gave the overall impression that delectable food AND drinks are always on the table. It may be for take-out, but I 'll be sure to return!
