Twice on a Sunday, they have run out of Wiener Schnitzel and this time it seems like they also ran out of fries or messed up all four orders. The Schnitzels they did have were smaller than usual. It feels like they are serving leftovers from Sundays. On top of that, they add a 10% surcharge, which would normally be fine but to be charged extra and not even get the meal you wanted is not acceptable. Despite this, I would recommend visiting them on any other night of the week and we will definitely be back, but we won't be returning on a Sunday.
The food was delicious and affordable, but the service was rushed. We hadn't even finished our appetizers when the main dishes arrived. Our order was almost correct, but we didn't want to cause a fuss about receiving mashed potatoes instead of the fries we had ordered. The worst part of the evening was when the garbage bins were wheeled through the middle of the restaurant during service at 7pm. This should have been done either before or after dining hours, not while customers were still eating.
I suggest avoiding The Bavarian on Sunday evenings. They were out of Wiener Schnitzel twice this past Sunday, and it also seemed like they either ran out of French fries or messed up all four orders. The portion sizes were smaller than usual, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, they charged an additional 10% fee. While this may not be a big deal under normal circumstances, being charged extra on top of not even getting the meals you wanted is unacceptable. Despite this, I would recommend The Bavarian on any other night of the week and we plan on returning. However, we will not be dining there on a Sunday again.
The food was good and cheap, It was very hurried, we 'd't end the duck before the net came. The order when we got him was almost right, didn't want to make it about getting Maische instead of the Pommes we ordered. The BIG-Downer for the evening was that the garbage buckets raded through the middle of the restaurant in the MIDDLE service. We're talking about 7:00. I would have thought that this would have done either much sooner or much later in the evening, not while paying and eating the customers there are
I think Sunday evening is the time to avoid the Bavarian. twice on Sunday they simply ran out of the white carving. this time it looks like they ran out of pommes or they managed to screw all four commands. the carvings they had were much smaller than normal. I think it's over Sundays! add insult to injuries that hit them with a 10% surcharge. Normally, this would not matter, but in order to be charged it and not even the meal times they want (more than once) is not up. all that has said in another night of the week, I would recommend it and we will be back, but never again on a Sunday.
