Mckinley’s Cafe - Shelbyville

Like the tasty food. Was there a few mos. ago. Atmosphere is nice staff are mostly friendly. Did not like feeling that I was being rushed to leave. Staff asked me multiple times could the take my basket up. When I still wasn't quite finished. I don't want to be rushed if I'm paying good money for lunch. It's not cheap. I don't mind paying , but I do expect to not be rushed out 20 mins. Into eating.

Unpretentious cafe. Takeaway food available but we sat in. Service very quick and food good. Definitely be back

Awesome food. Friendly folks. My bride had the Apricot Turkey Wrap. I had a Ruben with a cup of the Basil Tomato Soup. Everything things was fantastic. The Ruben was nice and dry (many get soggy from the sauerkraut not this one). I can only describe the Tomato Basil Soup as soul warming. My only regret is that I didn't order a bowl of the soup! Thanks, again!

They have the best soups and sandwiches. And all of the employees are amazing

My fiancé and I were driving home from Louisville via US60 and decided to stop in for lunch. We will for sure be back! The food was OUTSTANDING, the employees were so friendly, and it’s super cute inside. I wish we had a place like this in our town!
